CIG attended the World Chinese Language Conference in Beijing

On December 7th, the inaugural World Chinese Language Conference and Language Exhibition, a feast for Chinese education, kicked off at the Beijing National Convention Center. CIG board member YANG Jun was honored to participate and exchange ideas with many counterparts.

The conference was hosted by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, and co-organized by the Center for International Language Collaboration, China International Chinese Education Foundation, and the World Chinese Teaching Society. The conference invited officials from relevant education departments, heads of educational institutions, international language and cultural promotion organizations, leaders of international organizations, experts and scholars, business representatives, and foreign diplomats.

The World Chinese Language Conference and Language Exhibition attracted 107 institutions from around the world, including the World Chinese Teaching Society, Tencent Cloud, LingoAce, Wisdom Palace, Minsheng Education, Chengdu Radio and Television Station, Higher Education Press, People's Education Press, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Shenyang Vocational and Technical College, among others. CIG was one of the representatives overseas Chinese education institutions.

The exhibition was divided into three areas: Resources and Digitalization, Chinese Language Alliance, and China's International Education Exchange, showcasing the latest achievements in the international Chinese education field, including book publishing, online teaching resources, new technology applications, intelligent products, and international education exchange projects. This exhibition served not only as a platform for exchange, but also as a grand event for Chinese enthusiasts to immersively experience various innovative achievements.

During the event, more than 20 activities were held, including brand introductions, product roadshows, cooperative negotiations, signing ceremonies and more, forming a splendid Chinese language celebration. CIG representative YANG Jun actively participated, engaging in in-depth discussions with various elites to contribute collective wisdom for the future of overseas Chinese education.

CIG representative YANG Jun also attended the opening ceremony of the Global Chinese Language Conference and Language Exhibition. During the conference days, she actively learned from various institutions, hoping to apply the knowledge gained to future Chinese education work, injecting more innovation and vitality into the development of our CIG school.
